Beautiful Azaleas Along Deercreek Roads
Maintained by Connors Landscaping – Danny Connors, Owner
Residents and visitors alike praise the beauty of the landscape leading into the entrance of Deercreek Country Club and all roads within. Much of the credit for the scenic grounds goes to Danny Connors, who has maintained the property for 28 years. You may already know Danny. This April View is dedicated to him and his team’s services at Deercreek as they work diligently alongside the Deercreek HOA Common Property team to serve the homeowners.
Danny is first of all a family man. He grew up in Charleston, TN, and has lived in the Jacksonville area (Callahan) for nearly three decades. He and his wife Ginger have seven children and two grandchildren. “Everything I do revolves around my family. I love to go to my kids’ school and sporting events. I have often coached their teams. I love to spend time with them any way I can,” he said.
Connors Landscaping is a landscape contractor that works with the Deercreek HOA, reporting to the Common Property committee. They are a full-service landscape company, doing everything from landscape maintenance to landscape installation, irrigation, and horticultural services. But Danny and his staff go beyond routine tasks to take care of the community and his residents. He has been seen arriving early in the morning to remove dead deer and animals in the neighborhood, before drivers head to work. When a storm arrives and trees are downed, he is the first to begin the process of clearing the road to prevent accidents.
Danny works with his best friend, Ryan Arnold who serves the company’s general manager and vice president and is a huge contributor to the success of day-to-day operations. As many as six to eight employees work on the grounds, depending on the time of the year.
“The best part of my job is the people,” Danny said. “I have been fortunate enough to make life-long friends turned family through my work at Deercreek. The relationships made over the years are something I will always cherish.”
