After many military moves, Martin and Evelyn Kosiek left their last posting at Fleming Island in 2019 to find their dream home in Deercreek. We offered a welcoming community, a gated entry, and a prime location.
The Kosieks, “empty nesters”, love inviting family and friends to enjoy their home and pool overlooking Martin’s favorite spot, a beautiful view of JohnLee Lake out back.
Their yard sits on a large lot at a turn that allows visual appeal of the greenery, plants, trees, and a profusion of flowers of many kinds and colors from three sides. Martin credits this appeal to Evelyn’s “green thumb” and an eye for color. J.E.M. Landscaping makes sure all is manicured weekly.
A flowering Ligustrum anchors the front left along with a holly tree with 4 baskets of red geraniums, colored vinca, pink begonias, and white petunias underneath. A batch of round boxwoods with planted flowers fills this bed. What really commands attention is the climbing pink blossoms of the Mandevilla trellis that creep up a stone pillar near the door. Exquisite!
Loropetalums are trimmed as hedges curve around the corners of the home. Begonias and daisies encircle the oak tree in the yard near the driveway of pavers in a pale herringbone pattern.
The Kosieks say, “We are truly blessed by family, great neighbors in Deercreek, and a lovely home.”
