Deercreek residents know spring is here when the azaleas are in full bloom. Heather Lake Court East/West residents have probably the most glorious view of spring, with a shoreline of azaleas across Heather Lake brilliantly blooming. These azaleas were planted by one of the original residents of “the clubhouses” over 20 years ago and through the years, they have grown almost wild, reaching heights of 12 feet and more – and with their reflection on the lake, it’s quite a sight to see!

With azaleas lining the entrance to Deercreek and part of the landscape around many residents’ homes, there are thousands of azaleas blooming – and yes, the deer do enjoy eating them. Take a drive by to see the following residents’ homes incorporating azaleas in their landscapes:

Vinod and Surekha Patel – 11199 Chester Lake Road

Ron and Cheryl Stokes – 8104 Vineyard Lake Road

Keith Green – 10236 Vineyard Lake Road
