Donation Pickup

City Rescue Mission

We have agreed with the City Rescue Mission’s thrift store, Rescued Treasures, on Normandy Boulevard, to have their truck come into Deercreek. The truck will come on the second Wednesday of each month, from 10:00 am to 1 pm. If full, the truck will return on the following day (Thursday) between 10:00 am and 1 pm.

Small donations that do not justify the truck coming to your home may be brought to Elizabeth Curtin’s home. Most items are acceptable, excluding large kitchen appliances, garden equipment, and hospital beds/cots.

To obtain a tax receipt, each donor should list their donations and provide an estimated value for each.

  • Ottomans
  • Office chairs
