City Rescue Mission has been serving men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, hardship, and addiction in Northeast Florida since 1946. It is our mission, to provide the tools, resources, and support needed to positively transform lives. CRM is a 501(c)(3) corporation that provides food, clothing, shelter, emergency services, transitional housing, and residential recovery programs for men, women, and women with children. In 2021, CRM served approximately 300,000 meals and provided just over 70,000 nights of shelter. Homelessness increased in Jacksonville by 33% in 2021, and 35% of all homeless are mentally ill.
Through Deercreek Women’s Alliance, this community is supporting this thrift store by arranging for their truck to come to us on the second Wednesday of each month to collect donations. To arrange a pick up, please email Elizabeth Curtin on pickups99@yahoo.com
