August starts with 18 homes for sale in Deercreek. I have four of the listings and the sellers are moving to relocate to a job, for retirement, to be nearer to family and friends, and to be involved with grandchildren. On the flip side, I’ve talked with buyers who are moving to start businesses, want to downsize, and also want to be near family and friends. There are hundreds of reasons why people move. There is a lot of activity in Deercreek. A few months from now it may be back to only 4 or 5 houses on the market.

I expect to see the high temps we’ve had in July cool off a bit. I also expect buyers to start purchasing homes after they have considered options over the past few months. There is a variety of homes from which to choose!
