2022 promises to be an exciting year! Looking back at 2021, 40 homes sold in Deercreek totaling over $23 million dollars of real estate. The home prices ranged from $355,000 to $950,000. The homes varied in size from 1,898 square feet to 4,491 square feet. Homes came on the market and sold very quickly, often with multiple offers.
The home prices increased throughout the year. Buyers became creative to provide the best possibility of their offer being accepted. The appeal of the community is there are a variety of styles and sizes of homes for residents regardless of their stage of life. While forty of our friends and neighbors have moved out, there are forty new friends to be made.
7931 Vineyard Lake (currently listed at $925,000) is back on the market and the only home for sale in Deercreek (according to the 12/13/21 NEFAR MLS). The most recent sales are 7905 McLaurin Rd N at $549,000, and 7852 Troy Hills Ln at $585,000. In total six homes have sold over the last three months, ranging in price from $549,000 to $950,000. The homes ranged in size from 2,243 to 4,119 square feet, and were on the market from 3 – 70 days. Two homes are Under Contract: 11191 Chester Lake, a 3,643 sq ft home listed at $740,000; and, 8249 Wallingford Hills Ln, a 4,467 sq ft home listed at $885,000.
As 2022 begins and we make resolutions for ourselves, it is a good time to make a plan for our home’s maintenance and updating.
