Pickleball Court Rules

Oct 21, 2025

As the popularity of pickleball continues to soar, rules and regulations have been established to govern the use of our pickleball courts. These guidelines will ensure that everyone can enjoy this sport while maintaining fairness and accessibility.

At least one member or resident must be present as a player on the court at all times during play. Members and residents should be aware that violations of this rule could lead to the loss of playing privileges. No member or resident is permitted to bring more than three guests per day.

The pickleball courts can be reserved daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Court 1 is dedicated to open play at all times, while Courts 2 and 3 offer open play from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to join in during these times, and we ask that participants voluntarily rotate to allow everyone a fair chance to play.

Reservations for the courts can be made up to 14 days in advance through the dedicated platform at https://playdccoa.skedda.com/ or by downloading the Skedda app. Please note that individual users may make only one reservation per day to ensure fair access for all members.

It is crucial that all players adhere to their reserved time slots. If a member or resident fails to show up for a reservation, they may risk losing their playing privileges. Any reserved court that is not used within 15 minutes of the reservation time becomes available to others.

For any questions or concerns related to court reservations, members can reach out to DCCOA Skedda Administrator Brenda Shirkey at [email protected].

By following these rules and regulations, we can create a thriving pickleball community that welcomes players of all levels. Let’s keep the spirit of the game alive and make every match a memorable one. Dink responsibly!
