Important Reminders for Deercreek Residents:
Motorized Scooters: State law prohibits unlicensed drivers from operating motorized scooters on public roads and this applies within Deercreek as well. Residents may be cited if underage children are allowed to ride scooters on Deercreek roads. Safety and compliance are essential.
Guest Traffic Violations: Residents are now accountable for any traffic violations committed by their guests. Please inform your visitors that traffic rules are enforced starting at the entrance from Southside Boulevard onto Deercreek Club Road, which is Deercreek property.
Trash Storage: Per Deercreek covenants, trash and trash cans must be stored out of view from the road. This helps maintain the community’s appearance and standards.
Reporting Incidents: If you witness an issue involving security guards or any other concern that may require follow-up, please report it directly to a Board member or the Access Control Committee chair. Be sure to include the date, time, and location of the incident. This ensures proper review and corrective action. Other methods of communication tend to be less effective.
Trash in the Road: Do not place trash of any kind in the streets. It’s unsightly, poses a safety hazard, and residents will be held responsible.
Pedestrian Safety: Thank you to those who walk or run facing traffic. Sidewalks are the safest option, while walking with your back to traffic, especially while wearing earbuds, is highly unsafe.
