Fellow residents,
As you are aware, maintaining our lakes and ponds is a continuous challenge, but you can help. Algae thrive on the nutrients from grass clippings and lawn fertilizers.
Therefore, we are asking those of you who have property adjacent to water to instruct your lawn maintenance crews to direct their mowers so that the clippings blow away from the ponds and that chemical applications do not enter the ponds and lakes. We appreciate your help.
