From the Access Control Committee

Aug 1, 2025

  • School will be starting in August.
  • Be watchful for school buses and students walking in the roads. JSO will also have a higher presence in Deercreek during August.
  • Make sure guests are listed in the gate guest system, especially carpool guest drivers.
  • Use the system website to enter guests who will be entering several times rather than calling them in.
  • If parking and waiting for a school bus do not park in driveways or on residents’ lawns or within 50 feet of a stop sign.
  • Courtesy to others is always appreciated.
  • As a courtesy to all guests, remind them the speed limit in Deercreek is 30 miles per hour FROM SOUTHSIDE and the driver to have his or her driver’s license available at the gate BEFORE arriving at the gate. That will save time in entering.
  • Barcodes are NOT to be transferred from one vehicle to another. If that is observed, the transferred barcode will be deactivated, and a new one must be purchased at full price of $30. If the original barcode is brought to the guardhouse, it can be replaced for $15.
  • Do not place trash of any kind on the roads of Deercreek. Not only is it an unpleasant sight, it is also a safety hazard for which the owner is responsible.
  • Thanks again to all those who walk and run facing the traffic while on the roads, and special thanks to those who use ear buds and do that. That indicates your personal safety is important to you.
