Having served on the Board the past four years and three of those as Vice President, I’ve tried to seek and listen to the views of the community. More important, my emphasis has been to seek out differing opinions, apply my judgement and act in what I believe to be the best interest of Deercreek. And most importantly, to learn every step of the way.
If elected to this term, I will do my best to listen, learn and apply as we meet opportunities waiting for us next year and beyond. Next year, we can resume applying for City of Jacksonville Neighborhood grants – we won two of those previously. We have made investments in the community playground. There are still opportunities to build upon those investments. Because of the way they were negotiated this year and previously, we have stable and cost-effective contracts for Access Control and Common Property. We can use that solid base to continuously improve performance – there are opportunities. All of these require significant community input and I want to reach out to members willing to engage.
How we operate and plan Deercreek’s future are big questions.
My wife Elizabeth and I have seen the Deercreek community grow and evolve in our more than 20 years here. With children in Virginia, Maryland, France and Scotland, Deercreek is as welcome a destination for their families’ visits to us as it is for our year-round lives.
If elected, I hope to have a similar list to share at the end of 2024, 2025 and 2026. In consultation with you, I’m looking forward to using our resources wisely and for the best benefit of our community.
First—I would be honored to continue serving our community and would be grateful for your vote. Julie and I have lived here since 1997 and take great pride in calling Deercreek our home. 2014 I began volunteering on the Finance Committee and served thru 2020. During that time, we conducted a detailed introspection of our existing physical condition and reviewed our future needs. We listened to and valued community input on surveys and sought out ways to deliver. With input from you, Board initiatives were put into place for action with the assistance of Finance.
2021 I was elected to the Board and was chosen by my co-board members to be the Treasurer. I worked to serve Deercreek by again listening to you. Survey results clearly identified recreational needs and common property maintenance as priorities. We responded by including these requests into our budget planning by managing day to day needs with future capital planning. Currently, every committee has a Finance Committee liaison to assist them not only at budget time, but also during the entire year. We initiated a rolling three-year plan that is integral for future budget needs as determined by you and articulated by Committees. 2023, I was asked by members of the Board to be the President. First off, in response to you, we significantly improved our appearance by totally renovating the main median inside the gate. We also acted on your survey request to improve recreational opportunities by completely renovating the playground and delivering Pickleball courts.
I believe my understanding of the relationships between the community, committees, the Board, and the impact of economic decisions is an asset to Deercreek. As a volunteer for nearly ten years, I would ask for your help too. We all have many responsibilities, and our available time is limited, but if you can, please join in when possible.
In summary, my rich history of blending strategic, financial, and operational objectives while on the board uniquely qualifies me to help our community to continue to move forward.
I am a Florida Real Estate Broker and have over 40 years of history volunteering in both professional and charitable organizations.
I am a proud Army Veteran (starting as a Private, finishing as a Captain and, helicopter pilot), a graduate of the University of South Florida and attended the University of Florida (immediately prior to being asked to join the Army).

I am Kathleen Kleppinger. I live at 7910 Abington Hills Lane with my husband. I am currently serving on the Board of the HOA. In that capacity, I am the current Secretary, Liaison to the Fine Appeals Committee, Liaison to the Edgewater Community, and member of the Access Control Committee. I have lived in the community for about 6 years and am also a member of the Deercreek Country Club. I would feel privileged to serve a second term on the Board, if chosen by the community.
I am a retired Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Morgan Stanley. I serve on the Finance committee at my church and previously served as their Treasurer. My past volunteer experience in my prior life in Pennsylvania includes Chairing the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, The Reading Public Museum, The Campfire Boys and Girls Club, the Reading Symphony Orchestra, and the Board of Trustees of Alvernia University and serving on multiple other community boards. I also served asa committee Chairperson for the National Red Cross.
I have considered the past three years, serving on the HOA Board, to be not only a privilege but a wonderful experience and I hope that my previous experience will provide additional value in the next three years. I ask for your vote for me to serve again and continue to serve this community that I love.

He is an enthusiastic and successful leader that tackles challenges and opportunities by developing self and others to build high performing teams. Throughout his career, his appointments have been driven by his ability to swiftly create or realign strategy, people, and process.
Respected for his accomplishments, decision making, un-compromised values and transparency, Bryant earns a seat at the table wherever he serves. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at G&H Orthodontics, a privately held, manufacturer and commercialization company serving customers in 93 countries. Bryant has leveraged his breadth of experience to build a sales strategy and organization that will allow his company to expand from a single product category leader to a top five player in a highly fragmented and competitive industry.
Previously, Bryant held multiple leadership roles at 3M Company that exposed him to more than 17 business units, five continents, multiple business models (e.g., B2B, B2C, multi-brand, e-commerce, tenders, drop-shipments, etc.) and key functional areas such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Six Sigma as a Master Black Belt. During his last five years, he held the title of U.S. Business Vice President for the Infection Protection and Oral Care divisions which were, at that time, one of the largest revenue businesses (~$1.0 billion) and one of the most profitable businesses for 3M, respectively. In these roles, like in previous ones, he was brought in as a turnaround leader.
Bryant holds an MBA from Loyola University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Centro América and multiple leadership certificates. He currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife Silvia Jiménez. He has two children: his son Dylan and his daughter Ashlee. He enjoys mentoring, reading, swimming, traveling and motorcycle riding but, most of all, spending time with his family.
