Butch and Reen’e Loveless
7956 Vineyard Lake Rd N

In 2009, the Loveless family selected Deercreek because of its location and the security offered by a gated community for their children. Haley, now 23, works in the health care industry. Wes, a 2023 high school graduate, plans to enter Firefighter school this fall. Kudos to Wes for being a long-time volunteer in the army that decorates Max Zahn’s house for the holidays. All of Deercreek enjoys Max’s lights because both front and back can be viewed from the streets.

What makes the Loveless property so special is the perfectly manicured beds with immaculately clean stone borders. Reen’e does all their landscaping with a little digging assistance from Bob Schappert of Landscape Solutions. She selects, trims, replants and mows the yard!

In the front center a tall ligustrum is flanked by two red loropetalum bushes. A ligustrum of the same size anchors a large bed on the left side of the home. Two tall ornamental ligustrums frame the front window with three sunshine ligustrums on each side. Nine more red loropetalums are scattered throughout the bed.

By the front door, color has been added with a white planter filled with an orange heliconia in bloom, surrounded by eight variegated Scheffleras (arbicola trinette). Hopefully, the Georgia Bulldog statue protects this area.

The right side of their property is abloom with three lush dark pink crepe myrtles. Reen’e says these trees, with a birdhouse hung there and the nearby bird bath, have been the refuge of many birds over the years. Expertly trimmed viburnum hedges done by Diamond Pro Cut along both sides of the house complete the picture of a lovely yard!
