It doesn’t take much to remember that we have pets in our community. In fact, if you do not watch your step, you’re liable to step in one such reminder.
Please be a good neighbor – it is important to immediately clean up after your pet whether it is on a neighbor’s property or on common property. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. The Homeowner’s Association has invested in Doggy Stations in both natural areas on Vineyard Lake Rd and Deercreek Club Rd. as well as opposite the playground and recreational area. There are bags and a trash can that are maintained by the HOA. By taking a few simple steps to clean up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of our community but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in our community.
Also remember that your pet should always be on a leash per Jacksonville city ordinance.
