From the Access Control Committee

Aug 30, 2020

September 2020

School is now in session. Please be watchful for students and school buses as well as park courteously and safely if you wait to pick up students.
Some other reminders:

KEEP YOUR DEERCREEK PIN SAFE!
Please remember that your Deercreek PIN (the 4-digit number you provide when authorizing guests) needs to be kept safe and secure, and shared only with those residents of your household authorized to allow guest access. We have had several incidents in the past few months where unauthorized visitors were inside our community, which resulted from a Deercreek resident inappropriately sharing their PIN at an earlier time. Keeping your PIN secure helps ensure that only authorized guests are allowed access to our community.

REMEMBER TO VOTE — BUT NO POLITICAL YARD SIGNS, PLEASE!
As we approach election day, we hope that all Deercreek residents exercise their right to vote! However, do remember that political yard signs are not allowed within Deercreek. Thanks for your cooperation!

Please drive golf carts safely, stopping at stop signs, obeying the DCCOA speed limit, and please do not let unlicensed drivers drive a golf cart.

Effective October 1, any DCCOA bar code that has not been used in a year will be deactivated. The bar code can be reactivated by taking the vehicle to which it is attached to the guardhouse between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday, and it will be reactivated free of charge.

Last, the days are becoming shorter. If you must walk or run in the road, please walk facing traffic and ride bikes with the traffic. Light or reflective clothing can be a help, too. Safety is always a concern, but especially as the daylight grows shorter.
