The Home and Garden Club doesn’t meet during June and July
The Home and Garden Club doesn’t meet during June and July but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t still busy. We have just installed the new Officers – Cary Flynn, Vicki Khan, Catherine Wood, Paula Soehlig and Pam Overbay. The many Committees needed for next year are in place too. Karen Rutland, Sharon Coleman, Elizabeth Curtin and Nancy Abercrombie have put their heads together to come up with some new and interesting programs that will not only entertain you, but inform you about current issues and topics that today’s women care about.
We will hear about using essential oils in the garden and the home. We’ll learn about Forestry and take a Walking Tour of downtown, including bank vaults and tunnels! By the end of August, when we resume our monthly meetings, we will have the year’s schedule posted on our website so you can see what we are doing.
We try to have two luncheons, two Field Trips, two fundraisers and five regular programs so there is always something going on. Check our schedule and find a program that interests you and come out to see what we are all about.
