Program Schedule  2011-2012

The Deercreek Home and Garden Club has announced exciting innovations in its schedule for the coming year. 

In addition to the usual monthly meetings with speakers at 1:00 P.M. on the fourth Thursday of each month, there will be several field trips and an “Out to Lunch Bunch” opportunity for members to gather informally at interesting restaurants.  Members who would like to gather for lunch before the monthly meetings will be offered a salad bar lunch for $12.50 incl. starting at Noon.  Please call (363-1604) or email (Nicola.fulford@ourclub.com) Deercreek Club to let them know you are coming.

October 14        Field Trip to Symphony Coffee Concert with lunch to follow

November 1      Field Trip to Garden Club of Jacksonville followed by lunch

December 15    Holiday Brunch

January 12       General Meeting with speaker from Road Scholar

January 26       Out to Lunch Bunch

February 23     General Meeting with speaker on Landscapes and Resistant Grasses

March 8            Field Trip to Sally Corporation with lunch to follow

March 22          General Meeting with speaker on Interior Design and Color Selection

April 26            Annual Fashion Show Luncheon

May 10            Out to Lunch Bunch

May 24            Luncheon and Installation of Officers for the coming year

Gather your treasures and bring them to the October meeting where Barb Langston will appraise their value.  This has been a popular program in the past, so you won’t want to miss it.

Membership in Deercreek Home and Garden Club is open to all residents of Deercreek and members of Deercreek Club.  Dues are $20 a year, and can be sent to Mary Lou Roberts, 10052 Lakes End Court.  Prospective members are very welcome to attend a meeting to see if they would like to join.
