& Garden Club News On May
27, the Home and Garden Club held its final
meeting of the 2009-10 year with a luncheon and
the installation of officers for the coming
year. Following a social hour and lunch,
President Sandy Turner welcomed everyone and
thanked 2009-10 officers and committee members
for their contributions in making the year a
great success.
Two major fundraisers, luminaries and the
annual fashion show, have filled our coffers so
that the club can continue improvement and
beautification projects here in Deercreek.
The year ended with an all-time high membership
of over 100. The fashion show sold 150
tickets. Our meetings have been
informative, entertaining and well attended.

It’s time to enjoy the summer. We meet
again on Thursday, August 26,
at 12 Noon for our opening luncheon and the
presentation of the Golden Acorn Award.
Plan to be there to begin another exciting year
with the Deercreek Home and Garden Club.
Please try to bring a friend or neighbor whom
you would like to introduce to the Garden Club
and all its great programs, and remember to make
a reservation at 363-1604.
