You can complete that dream remodeling project. In six weeks, you can prepare & stage your home to put on the market to sell. Interest rates can fluctuate. In six weeks, your landscaping can look dramatically different than it does today. Much can happen in six weeks.
The NEFMLS as of 1/6/17 showed 14 homes for sale in Deercreek. Priced from $364,900 to $649,900, they range in size from 2218 to 4711 sq ft. The list price averages $147.66 per sq ft, yet ranges from $113.93 to $180.30. The homes have been on the market an average 124 days, although this number is skewed by one home which has been on the market over a year, as well as the annual slowdown during the holidays. It is a happy seller who sells their home during the holidays. The three homes under contract are listed from $405,000-$449,000, and range in size from 2598 to 3743 sq ft.
Seven homes sold and closed in the last 3 months ending 1/6/17. Priced from $345,000 to $545,000, they were 2354 to 3743 sq ft. On the market an average of 75 days, the homes sold from $113.26 to $164.45 per sq ft, and averaged $146.40 per sq ft. Real estate in Deercreek will be active in the next six weeks. Higher interest rates are encouraging buyers to buy now, and sellers are getting ready for the busy spring selling season. You may not be doing either one, yet I bet you know someone who is.
