Luncheon, Installation of Officers and Kitchen Gadget Exchange
Tuesday May 24 at 11:30 am
We will be closing out another interesting year of the Home and Garden Club with a luncheon and installation of officers, Cary Flynn, Vicki Khan, Paula Soehlig, Catherine Wood and Pam Overbay, along with introducing the Committee Chairs. With so many projects to be done during the year, we need many hands to get them accomplished and we want to say, “Thank You for a job well done!” Our Field Trips to Sweet Pete’s and Williams Nursery were fun; our Fundraisers, The Fashion Show (see pictures on cover) and Game Day were enjoyed by all, and our monthly meetings have covered a wide variety of topics, including - Daylilies, Antiques, Preventing Senior Scams, Pearls and Creative Gift Wrapping! We love getting together to socialize while working on projects to help beautify Deercreek.
Please RSVP to Karen Rutland for the luncheon so we’ll know how many meals we need - 219-4135. Don’t call the Club for this or you may not get on our list.
For fun, we are planning a “Kitchen Gadget Exchange” so bring along a gift-wrapped new kitchen gadget that costs between $5-10. We will have a Grab Bag format so that no one knows what they are getting. Use your new Gift Wrapping ideas from our April meeting to show what you learned!
If you are new to the neighborhood or are wondering what the Home and Garden Club call our membership chair, Anne Klueppel - 519-5368
