Field Trip to Publix Aprons Cooking School
Tuesday April 23 10:45 am
Have you heard about Aprons Cooking School? It is a wonderful place tucked away in the Publix store on San Jose Blvd. Picture this: You are sitting in a room filled with linen covered tables set with silver and wine glasses while a celebrity chef prepares a two-course lunch paired with three complimentary wines just for you! And the menu consists of tenderloin, mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus - with a dessert course of pecan and chocolate tart. Mmmm.
We have reserved the whole cooking class kitchen on April 23 so that Chef Tony Charbonnet can demonstrate how to make this fabulous meal and then we will get to eat what he and his team have prepared. There will be recipes and cooking tips for you to take home. Those of us who have been to Aprons classes loved them and we’re hoping you will bring your foodie friends along for this adventure. The room can hold a maximum of 60 people so bring your whole group! They don’t need to be members for this.
The cost is $25 per person and you can bring your check on that day. But you need to reserve your space ahead of time. The deadline is April 19. Contact Sharon Coleman at 314-7634 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Make the checks out to Deercreek Home and Garden Club.
We will meet at the Aprons Classroom inside Publix at 10500 San Jose Blvd at 10:45 if you drive yourself. If you want to carpool, meet at the Club pool parking lot at 10 am to organize rides. This is going to be a great Field Trip, so don’t miss it!
