DWA: Save the Date!
Pass the peanut butter, please...
The DWA is supporting the Mandarin Food Bank with a peanut butter and jelly drive, to be held July 7-20. Many local children rely on their school’s free or reduced lunch programs, and those families rely on your generosity during the summer months. Your items can be left in the box at the guard gate or at the home of Carmen Kelly, 10139 Bishop Lake Road W. Carmen serves as the Mandarin Food Bank liaison and can be reached by phone or text at 904-610-9789. Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated.
Shop, donate, repeat...
The NE Florida Community Hospice Thrift Store truck will be collecting items for their store on July 13. The Thrift Shop is located at 11173 Beach Blvd and is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 – 6:00. Since 2000, the store has generated nearly $1.8million for end of life care for patients in the Jacksonville area. The store also provides items to families in crisis. The DWA greatly appreciates your ongoing support of this worthy charity. If you miss the July date, the truck is in the neighborhood the second Monday of each month. Please contact Elizabeth Curtin at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a pick up. Elizabeth serves as the contact for this DWA charity and can also be reached at 519-7937.
